We've been brimming with excitement since Adidas Originals first announced their collaboration with Rita Ora back in January. The brand told us to "expect the unexpected" and promised "details to follow" and then...nada. Adidas, you tease! To be fair, the line isn't set to come out until Fall/Winter 2014, but the silence has still been torturing us. Well, fellow Ritabots, the wait is over. Miss Ora MUST have heard our cries, because she just gave us all a little sneak preview!
Rita posted a pic of herself on Instagram, writing, "Morning! See you soon Boston! Wearing my own @adidasoriginals with RitaOra Trackie!!! I can't wait for you guys to see it! #iwillneverletyoudown." True to her word, she did NOT let us down.
The hoodie in question is bold and undeniably in line with Rita's outrageous personal steez, featuring a tropical flower print and bright red Adidas trefoil logo. Yep, I would definitely classify tropical floral and butterfly print for fall as "unexpected." We probably still have a ways to go before we get anymore ~official~ looks at the line, but this awesome teaser will certainly tide us over. At least for a couple weeks.
